Happy Birthday December Babies!

What a special month to be born in December the same month we celebrate the Saviors birth. It's extra special for us because our two grandsons were born this month! Preston is the best gift we could receive and we're very happy and blessed.

We hope that all of you, our dear family, will have a peaceful and happy Christmas that's full of joy and love. We also wish Pete, Mike and Preston a very happy birthday.

I wanted to post this even though I sent a note out on the GFL. Jayda's blessing was wonderful and was extra special because we had the pleasure of family come to visit!! Love you!

Dear Family,

I have researched some hotels right on the beach. The one that looks the best, with the most to do is the Wyndom Ocean Walk. It is connected to the boardwalk where all the fun is. (arcades, fireworks,bunji jump,several restaurants, shops,parasailing,boat rides,bonfire on the beach pit, water fountain for kids, and more.) It has a lazy river with slide, spa and several pools. The rooms have kitchens, and can sleep 4 to 6 people. The rate is $250 per night with a min. of a 2-night stay. Each family would take care of Breakfast and Lunch, and then we could meet some where for Dinner. Because of the price I am thinking a 2-night stay would be enough. By the way I read your emails I am still not getting definite choices. There are a lot of uncertainty in your choice’s, like,” if the majority wants one thing, then I would be ok with that choice.” I need you to tell me your choice either the beach or a cruise. Not whatever the majority picks I will be ok with, cause no one is being specific with their choice. I am not going to decide for everyone. Tell me which it is, the beach or the cruise. It looks to me like a cruise for a family of 2 or 3 would be a better deal than the beach, but if you are a family of 5 or 6 the beach would be a better deal. Although, we could put more than one family in a room and it would be a better price for the smaller families to go to the beach to. Just let me know.

Happy Birthday November Babies!

Well, after Jeri's big tribute to Ron I didn't want to move his blog out of the way. So I waited a few days before adding the rest of the November birthdays. We love you all just as much you guys! And we wish you a wonderful and happy birthday on your special day.

SISTER HOWARD IS COMING HOME!

What a ride our Sarah has had in Ukraine! Can you believe it's time to come home?

Some of you will remember these scenes of Sarah's farewell 18 months ago. Well, it's that time again.

However, we were in Draper then and now we are living in Taylorsville. Sarah will arrive home from Ukraine on August 4th. She will be speaking in our sacrament meeting on Sunday the 9th that begins at about 12:45 pm. Those of you that will be able to attend are invited to join us at our home afterward for food and visiting. I will send out an e-mail with our new address on it. We are looking forward to Mom and Dad Garrard coming and anyone else who can.

I'm heading out for another Choir tour next week. This time we're heading to the Central States. This includes: Cincinnati, St. Louis, Des Moines, Omaha, Kansas City, Norman (OK), and Denver. I'm not sure if I should continue to write in the family blog or not. From the last few conversations from Lee and Grandpa Garrard, it sounded like we didn't feel like it was safe. Happy Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day to our sweet and loving Mama. You have always been a wonderful example to your six children. And now that the family has grown you've continued to be a special Mother, Grandmother, and Great

Grandmother. We all love you and admire you so much!

I'm blessed to be one of your children, and I've always felt wanted and loved through out my life. Thank you for taking care of me when I was small, and putting up with me when I was a teen! I remember always clinging to you when I was young. That was (and still is) my favorite place to be. Next to my Mama. And even with six children you always made time to be with me.

I hope you have a wonderful Mother's Day on Sunday. I sent you a card in the mail, but never know if it gets to you in time. I'll try to call and talk with you and Dad. I love you very much.

What a beautiful baby girl. Congratulations! Maybe you were thinking of the Aspen tree of Utah. It is such a beautiful and stalwart tree and is always admired by everybody that is privileged to visit that area. We feel that little "Ainsley Aspen" is and will be admired by all. The cat is out of the hat. Ainsley Aspen Conway was born Monday morning at 7:48am. Everything went well with the scheduled C-section. Mother and baby are doing great. She has some long black hair and weighed in at 6lb. 9oz. and was 19" long.
